The Canon EOS R5 is a full frame mirrorless camera that’s powered with a large 45MP CMOS Image Sensor and a powerful DIGIC X Image Processor. The camera has been redefined and surpasses on many levels, with a step-change in performance, cutting-edge image stabilisation technology, and next level video & image quality, being the ideal camera for professional photographers and filmmakers, as well as talented and artistic amateurs that have a strong creative drive.

The Canon R5 camera will feature: 8K full sensor readout video capture; high-speed continuous shooting that will offer up to approximately 20 frames per second RAW image capture using the electronic shutter, or up to 12 using the mechanical shutter, and all 8K modes will support Canon’s renowned Dual Pixel CMOS AF, as well as advanced animal AF that will recognise the eyes and body of dogs, cats, and birds; and advanced in-body image stabilization (IS) system of up to 8-stops and also works with existing IS systems on attached RF lenses; and dual media card slots and it will also support automatic transfer of image files from the device to the image, canon cloud platform.
