Utilizing Sony’s IMX432 global shutter CMOS sensor, the ASI432MM camera offers the ideal combination of a large 1.1″ sensor, generous 9m pixels and high capture rate for outstanding planetary, solar and lunar imaging.

This camera’s 1.1″ sensor is significantly larger than most, giving the ASI432MM a uniquely wide field of view, making it the ideal choice for solar and lunar captures. The large sensor size also translates into a larger pixel size. Measuring in at 9m, these portly pixels offer higher sensitivity for finer details and more nuanced gradients.

Unlike CCD cameras, the CMOS sensor used in the ASI432MM offer low readout noise. The addition of HCG mode further reduces high-gain noise, allowing 12bit captures at 140 gain.
