Tele Vue Finderscope Adapter Block

The Tele Vue Finderscope Adapter Block lets you adapt to different finderscope platforms.

Would you like to use a magnifying finderscope on your Tele Vue refractor other than the supplied red-dot finder? Then you need this Finderscope Adapter Block (#TE-FAB1008). This plastic finder scope adaption block fits directly into the dovetail grooves on Tele Vue tube mounting rings and is fixed into place with hex-head bolts. Now just install the Losmandy 50 mm quick release bracket (#TE-LQRB) and you can put any optional 50 mm finder scope on your Tele Vue refractor!

The Losmandy ring/dovetail combination simply clamps onto the dovetail built into the top of the adapter block. Then just use the single finger-tighten knob to lock the finderscope mounting ring dovetail onto the block itself. What could be easier? Just turn the knob to loosen and the optional finder scope can be quickly removed and the telescope placed in its storage case. Thanks to the long adapter dovetail surfaces, your finder should remain accurately collimated for the next use!
