Parallax Instruments Standard Telescope Mounting Rings for 5″ OD Tubes

These split tube rings are specifically designed for most tubes with an outside diameter of 5″. They are made of die-cast aluminum, finished in gloss black paint, and lined with felt. The hinges, no-tool knobs, and hardware are made of stainless steel for long life and easy telescope installation and removal.

The rings are installed onto your mount or mount dovetail plate via a 1/4″-20 thread mounting hole that is drilled and tapped in the flat boss on the bottom of each ring. A similar hole is drilled and tapped on the top boss so that accessories, such as a piggyback camera mount, can be attached.
