GIOTTO 255 Smart Flat Field Generator

This flat field generator is suitable for use on telescopes with an aperture of up to 255mm. For example, the PrimaLuceLab GIOTTO 255mm Flat Field Generator is a great choice for telescopes in the 8.5″ to 11″ range.Thumbscrews allow for fast mounting to optical tubes with a 217mm to 279mm outer diameter.

While the GIOTTO 255 may fit onto your scope, you will want to make sure that the illuminated portion will extend past your telescope’s optics. If your telescope’s external diameter is close to 255mm, you may want to consider upgrading to the GIOTTO 285. This will ensure that the diameter of the illuminated field flattener is larger than the diameter of your telescope’s external tube.
