About the iOptron Tri Pier

iOptron combines the stability and unobtrusive design of a pier with the ease of use and portability that a tripod offers. The iOptron Tri Pier with it’s ultra heavy-duty construction has a maximum load capacity of 220 lbs. Aluminum and steel construction offers the best combination of strength and reduced weight. The TriPier weighs an easy to carry 25.6 lbs with a folded dimension of 12.8 inches around and 25.6 inches long. Folding and adjustable legs offer a comfortable height range between 31.3 – 43 inches with a maximum spread of 46.5 inches, diameter. Tilting feet offer a sure footing on uneven terrain, capable of remaining level and stable on a grade range of up to 3.35″. The iOptron Tri-Pier is compatible with CEM60, CEM70/G, CEM40, iEQ45 Pro, iEQ30 Pro, MiniTower Pro, MiniTower Pro II and CEM120 mounts (you will need an adapter plate for the CEM120 mount #IO-8036-120). Includes a rolling hard case for easy transportation.
