Meade 8×50 Viewfinder w/ Dovetail Base

Easily locate and center deep sky objects with this straight-thru Meade 8×50 Viewfinder. Includes a 6-point Aluminum bracket with six nylon-tipped metal thumbscrews to protect the viewfinders polished blue finish. An extra-wide universal dovetail mounting base designed for SCT/ACF optical tubes is also included.

The finder comes with two #8-32 x 1/2″ mounting screws to attach to the optical tube. The universal base was designed with slotted mounting holes making this compatible with both small and large aperture optical tubes. The finders mounting base includes two metal thumbscrews making it a breeze to install and uninstall the finder quickly.

The finder’s large 4.7-degree field of view includes a crosshair reticle making sighting objects during the alignment process easier than looking through the main telescope’s eyepiece. Focusing the finder is as simple as rotating the objective lens.
