This is the very desirable late model 80mm f1.9 lens for ALL of the manual focus Mamiya 645/m645 cameras. It is, to my knowledge, the fastest lens for any medium format SLR system, just edging out the Contax 80mm f2.0.
Our technician has declicked the aperture ring on this one making it ideal for video.
The lens is extremely sharp with great color and is more than one full stop faster than the standard 80mm 2.8. The extra speed is a big help for low-light shooting and shallow depth of field and makes the image pop into focus better, allowing for easier focusing.
It is in excellent condition with light wear and works perfectly. There is a small scuff on the filter ring but it does not impact the threading, the lens accepts filters easily. The glass is clean and scratch-free with no haze, fungus, nor other issues. The focus and aperture are smooth (no click!)
