The CONCEPT ONE OH4.5V Ball Head from Cullman is an Arca-type compatible hybrid photo/video ball head. When using the head in video mode, the ball is locked in place so it will only tilt on a front-to-back axis and pan 360. The head stands 4.1″ high, weighs 1.4 lb, and has a load capacity of 15.4 lb.
A large knob locks and unlocks the ball, while a smaller knob controls the 360 panning, and a separate knob adjusts the friction. The video knob allows the ball to be locked into place, preventing it from tilting off-axis so that you can get straight tilts when shooting video. A long pan handle can be easily attached to ensure smooth movements, and an Arca-type compatible quick-release plate is included to facilitate fast camera attachment.
