Built with a blend of performance and reliability, the2TB Envoy USB 3.2 Gen 2 Portable NVMe SSDfromOWC / Other World Computingis designed to handle the needs of demanding pros and everyday personal needs. Equipped with an 2TB OWC Aura Pro IV PCIe 4.0 SSD, the Envoy delivers speeds of up to 1000 MB/s. It comes preformatted APFS for macOS 10.13 and later, iPadOS 13 and later, but may be reformatted used with Windows, Chrome, and Linux. It connects to your host system using a 10 Gb/s USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port via plug-and-play, but is backward compatible with 5 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 1 and 480 Mb/s USB 2.0. It may also be connected to USB-A ports using a USB-C to USB-A adapter (sold separately). Other features include bus power, an aluminum enclosure, and an integrated LED indicator for power and activity status. Included is a 12″ USB-C cable.
