Baader Protective Canon DSLR T-Ring w. Clear Filter – T2/M48 and 2″

Baader’s Protective Wide T-Ring System for the Canon EOS resolves the issues that have plagued advanced astro-imagers that have only been able to use a standard mass produced camera T-ring. The 2″ wide-aperture of this protective T-ring accepts 3 different attachment adapters (which are included with each T-ring). These are the Standard T-thread (42 mm), 2″ thin profile nosepiece, and 48 mm thread (astro filter standard).

The internal filter compartment accepts both Baader 2″ mounted filters and 50.4 mm unmounted filters for the widest aperture possible (47.3 mm aperture). Additionally, the optimized design and tight manufacturing tolerances ensure the closest fit possible with the Canon EOS body. This means that you can avoid both focal plane tilt and image shift that is caused by wobble and play at this connection point.

This particular system also comes with a pre-installed Baader 50.4 mm x3 mm Clear Filter.
