The Blackmagic Design Streaming Decoder 4K converts an H.264 or H.265 stream from the Streaming Encoder into SDI or HDMI video. A wide range of Blackmagic Design cameras comes equipped with built-in streaming capabilities that allow for point-to-point transmission between remote locations. These include the Blackmagic Studio Camera Pro, PYXIS, URSA Cine, and URSA Broadcast G2.

On the front as well as the rear of the Blackmagic Design Streaming Decoder 4K, you will find USB-C connectivity that allows for tethering high-speed 5G and 4G mobile phones. Should the internet connection fail, the decoder will automatically switch to the mobile data connection, though you are able to select preferences depending on specific needs.
