The Canon RF 35mm f/1.4 L VCM Lens is designed with high-end video capabilities in mind. This wide-angle L-series hybrid prime features a fast f/1.4 maximum aperture ideal for working in difficult lighting conditions.

The 11-blade iris provides a soft, cinematic look to your bokeh and it provides a minimal focus breathing for easy and smooth focus pulls. The focus ring can be used full-time with override, and you can also utilize the iris ring manually during changing conditions on your video shoots.

A Voice Coil Motor (VCM) is supported by the Canon RF 35mm f/1.4 L VCM Lens providing fast floating rear focus and Nano USM for quick, accurate and quiet autofocus performance. Chromatic aberrations is nearly eliminated for notable clarity and colour accuracy with the specially developed lens elements. Two ultra-low dispersion elements and two aspherical elements are employed to further control various aberrations and distortion for enhanced sharpness and resolution.

To ensure optimal performance in difficult external conditions, the Canon RF 35mm f/1.4 L VCM Lens features a dust- and moisture-sealed construction with ACS (Air Sphere Coating) and SSC (Super Spectra Coating). Fluorine coatings are also applied for optimal use in almost any condition to prevent ghosting and lens flares.
