Leica M3 DS Chrome 35mm Rangefinder Camera Body -New Leather- [EXC-]

This is an early double-stroke M3 with the ceramic pressure plate, a frameline selector, and the “Buddah Ears” strap lugs. When this camera came into our shop, the leather was crumbling when touched (common in early Leicas). Our technician has replaced it with new leather, it looks excellent on the camera.

This camera is in excellent condition with light wear and works perfectly. There is a small ding next to the strap lug (see photos) and some wear on the bottom plate from normal use, but there are no major dents nor defects. The shutter is strong and accurate at all speeds. The rangefinder is bright and accurate.

The spool and a body cap are included. This is a nice one.
