Losmandy Dovetail Plate for Meade 14″ LX200 Series Telescopes

This Losmandy dovetail plate was designed for Meade 14″ LX200GPS Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes, as well as 14″ LX200-ACF (LX200R) models. The dovetail plate is the heart of the Losmandy accessory line. You can attach Losmandy counterweights, piggyback camera adapters, and guidescope rings to it. Best part is that it bolts to existing holes. Update: The Losmandy Dovetail Plate will now have hole spacing for LX850 F/8 optical tubes which are a bit shorter than the LX200 OTA’s. No drilling needed!

The dovetail plates, like all accessories in the Losmandy line, are machined for lightness and rigidity from aluminum stock, then black anodized for a tough, corrosion free surface. It weighs in at 5.5 lbs. and its length is23.75″ HS 22.00. The height from the top of tube to the top of the dovetail plate is 1.20″. The plate thickness is .7″.
