Double stacking provides a truly enhanced, high definition view of the Sun’s surface details. Notably, it lowers the bandpass of the system from below 0.7 Angstrom to below 0.5 Angstrom, which really makes the surface “pop”!

The Lunt LS80THacan be internally double-stacked at the time of purchase or anytime thereafter. Furthermore, the LS80THadoes not need to be returned to the factory for double-stacking.

You can purchase the LS80THasingle stack solar telescope initially and add the DSII to make it a double stack unit later. This will make it more affordable to purchase our most popular solar telescope and still have room for upgrades. Once you upgrade your Lunt LS80THa with the DSII, you will be able to see the finer details not previously visible.
