Nikon FM2 35mm Black Film SLR Body Only -Dent- [EXC-]

Here is the FM-2, the king of the 1970’s compact SLRs. What makes this such an enduring classic? It looks great, works great and takes sixty years worth of Nikkor lenses. The camera works without batteries (only the meter uses batteries) and you get 1/4000s top shutter speed and 1/125s sync. The camera has great controls, some of the easiest and most intuitive to use that I have experienced.

It is in excellent- condition with light wear and works perfectly. There is a dent by the advance lever, and because of this the exposure level needs to be manually resent. Aside from this all functions of the camera are smooth. The shutter and meter are accurate and the mechanical functions are smooth. The battery compartment is clean. Our technician has replaced the light seals, a $75 value. The lens is clean and scratch-free with no haze, fungus, nor other issues. The focus is smooth and the aperture is dry and snappy.
