Nikon Nikkor 80-200mm ED f2.8 D AF Telephoto Zoom Lens Push Pull [BAR]

This is an excellent example of the first generation 80-200mm.

The AF is slower than the current lenses but if you can excuse that it is an excellent performer and MUCH less expensive.

If you are shooting weddings or portraits then you do not really need the speed so this lens is a great choice. I think that the image quality is arguably better than the newer versions.

Be aware that it uses the screw type AF drive and will only AF on cameras that have the motor in the body. Ask if you are not sure.

This one is in bargain condition. It is missing the nameplate (see photos) and there is a moderate amount of dust behind the front element that may soften your images slightly. The focus distance readout window is cracked. The autofocus is accurate and the mechanical functions are smooth. The aperture is dry and snappy. There is no haze, fungus, nor separation.

The lens caps are included.
