Orion StarShoot 2″ Motorized Filter Wheel

You’ll have the pleasure of experiencing extremely productive astro-imaging sessions with the StarShoot 2″ Motorized Filter Wheel from Orion. It saves you precious imaging time by ensuring automatic and hassle-free filter transitions for your monochrome imaging setup. In order to easily transition filters for tri-color, RDB, or LRGB imaging simply load up to 4 filters into the filter wheel and use your imaging software to automatically change filters. Let your PC do the hard work for you while you grab the separate exposures needed through each filter. Versatile threading and adapters provide several attachment methods, including a removable 2″ nosepiece to allow maximum field illumination to the camera, T-threads for focusers with camera adapters, and even a removable T-thread adapter for camera attachment.

The StarShoot 2″ Motorized Filter Wheel draws its power from the USB connection. It is ASCOM and Windows 10 compatible. Consuming only 1″ of focus travel, this filter wheel is perfect to use with a monochrome CCD camera, but can also be used with color cameras when you want to switch between filters such as imaging light pollution or neutral density filters.

Filters are easily changed by removing 5 screws with the included hex key. The StarShoot 2″ Motorized Filter Wheel helps enhance your CCD imaging by both saving you time and making it easy for you to capture beautiful images of the night sky.
