This grip is specially designed for the Nikon D500 DSLR camera. It is equipped with an alternate shutter-release button, main dial, sub-command dial, and multi selector, for access to controls while shooting in a vertical position. This power grip can hold one EN-EL15 rechargeable lithium-ion battery, in addtion to the camera’s internal battery to extend shooting time. Or the grip can be powered using an alternate battery tray (included) with 8 AA batteries (alkaline or NiMH).
