It provides you with a variety of functions that enables you to instantly switch between scenes containing preset arrangements of layered sources in customisable inset windows. It also delivers really smooth transitions between the current and the next scene by automatically moving and resizing the windows into their next positions. The advanced Roland VP-42H also functions as a true cross-dissolve seamless switcher, with a keyer to create overlays and the ability to present still images via a USB drive.

Key features include flexible audio capability that includes stereo RCA outputs for de-embedding audio from connected HDMI sources and outputting it then to other devices such as speakers and mixers; and each of the input layers can be cropped, scaled, zoomed and positioned by easily clicking and dragging.
