Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer Tracking Mount – Photo Package

This Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer Photo Package consists of the Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer Multi-Function Mount, a built-in polar scope with an illuminator, and a Sky-Watcher Ball Head Adapter. This combination can be used for astronomy, astrophotography, and time-lapse photography.

This Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer Photo Package is built around the Star Adventurer mount, which is a high precision, portable, and stable celestial tracking platform for sidereal, solar, and lunar tracking with an automatic DSLR shutter release control. This multi-function mount also contains preprogrammed parameters which are designed to assist you in creating interesting time-lapse videos with your DSLR.

Designed for Versatility

The Star Adventurer Multi-Function Mount can be installed on a photo tripod or other mount which has an adjustable head. If you are going to align the Star Adventurer to the celestial pole, be sure that your photo head can tilt back far enough so that you can see the celestial pole with the included Polar Scope at your particular latitude.

It is possible to do a rough polar alignment of this mount using a regular adjustable photo head or ball head. In case you wish to do a precision polar alignment of your package, we suggest you also purchase the optional Star Adventurer Latitude Equatorial Base (SW-S20530) which provides the controls for performing this precise polar alignment.
