This Stellarvue adapter is designed to convert a 48 mm thread to a 42 mm thread. The adapter also provides an additional 8 mm of space to your camera. An additional 10 mm of back focus to your camera and not recommended to be used with a DSLR and the Stellarvue SFF3 flattener. In instances where your CCD camera requires more back focus, pairing this adapter with Stellarvue’s 48 mm extension tube will give you the back focus you need.
