There’s no need to go to the additional expense of buying another finder… Just get a Telrad Base Plate! The genuine Telrad Base Plate attaches to any telescope with the supplied double-sided tape and is also pre-drilled should you wish to permanently mount it on your equatorial mount or dobsonian telescope.

The Telrad Base Plate has a dovetail bracket the securely positions your Telrad into place and its held with two plastic locking thumbscrews. This makes attaching and removing the Telrad finder between telescopes a breeze and recollimation is rarely necessary. Now you can enjoy your Telrad on any telescope you use!
